As I tend to revisit Emmetts Garden regularly, I have created this second page to avoid the delays of downloading too many thumbnails at one time on a single sheet

Emmetts Garden woodland spring 2006
Due to a cold damp spell in march spring was a little late this year, but the extra rain and recent sun seem to have contributed to an exceptional display of blubells and flowering shrubs.

Emmetts Garden spring 2007
There were glorious displays of flowering shrubs and spring flowers, both in the garden and surrounding woodland. The bluebell display in the sloping woodland was at least two weeks early this year peaking in the first week of May. This was due to April 2007 being the warmest on record.

Emmetts Garden spring 2008
Spring 2008 was cold and wet which delayed the spring displays. We visited Emmetts in early May and the bluebells had not yet reached their best, but we found a few areas worthy of a photograph.
